Built by operators, for operators.
ManageSM exists because the tools we used to run our own social work broke every time we scaled past a handful of accounts.
The origin
We started ManageSM after running social for a portfolio of client brands using the usual suspects — one big-name scheduler, one workflow tool, one analytics tool, and a spreadsheet holding them together. Every quarter something broke: an OAuth token expired silently and posts stopped publishing for a week, a client changed their brand voice and we had to hunt through 40 approvals to find who signed off on the old one, an analytics migration wiped six months of numbers.
The tools we used were designed for a world where you run a brand. When you run ten, or fifty, they fall apart in ways their marketing pages don't admit.
What we believe
- Reliability first. A scheduler that misses posts is worse than no scheduler. Every scheduled post gets pre-flight checks. Publishing failures are loud, not silent.
- Show your work. An approval isn't a click, it's a decision that should be traceable a year later. Every action in the app has a timestamp and an actor.
- Plain language. Feature names should describe what the feature does, not sound clever. If a copywriter needs to explain the noun, it's the wrong noun.
- Honest roadmaps. If we don't have SOC 2 yet, we say so. If a network needs app review before we can add it, we say so. If a feature is a placeholder, we say so.
- You own your data. Export it any time in a portable format. Delete your account and it's gone within 30 days. We never train AI models on your posts.
Where we are today
ManageSM is early-stage. The core is shipped: workspaces, brands, connected accounts, drafting, scheduling, activity history, approvals. X publishing is live. LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and the smaller networks are in progress — you can see the current state on the Product page.
We're not VC-funded and we don't plan to be. That means feature velocity depends on customer revenue, and we're fine with that trade — no growth-at-any-cost pressure to compromise on the principles above.
Where we're going
The near-term goal is to make ManageSM the most reliable, honest scheduler and engagement tool for teams that manage more than one brand. Not the biggest, not the cheapest, not the one with 400 integrations you'll never use.
The longer-term goal is to be the tool that agencies pick because their clients can approve on a phone without a login, and their team can prove what shipped and when.
Where we're based
Canada — British Columbia. Servers in the United States. Timezone: Pacific Time. English and French support (French is on the roadmap for the app itself).
